Personalization templates
See how to create templates to personalize Caflou for your colleagues and users you invite to your account. With the help of templates, you make Caflou much clearer for them and make it easier for them to start working with the application. Within the template you can set:
- Dashboard widgets/modules
- Left panel
- Top/main menu
- Displayed/hidden tabs in the details of companies, projects, tasks, default tabs (again for companies, projects, tasks) or the number of items on the overview page

Note 1: You can still personalize manually, that is, you manually adjust the settings (see points above) for each user via the "Personalize" action in the action menu for the given user.
Note 2: General settings for all newly invited account users can also be set in User Management, in the General tab:
- Mandatory two-step authentication
- Hidden/displayed tabs in the details of companies, projects and tasks
- The order of tabs in the detail of companies, projects and tasks, and the default/starting tab
Note 3: Personalisation templates can also be applied in bulk (via an action in the templates administration)
❗ Ideally, when personalizing existing users manually or via a template, make changes with the user's knowledge, so as not to change the appearance of their application under their hands. Applying a template on an existing user will override personalization they could have done for themselves.
User Rights Templates

The rights template can be applied
- to future users when you send an "invitation" (you choose the default rights) or
- to existing users (you apply the template by editing the rights of the user)
Who will use the rights template?
- You will use the rights templates if you invite users to your account more frequently and these users have to have a certain matching pattern of user rights (e.g. salesperson, invoice clerk, manager, etc.). You use the rights template to set rights for them at the account level.
- If you generally approach rights selectively, i.e. you add rights to users by adding roles (on projects, tasks), then you are more likely not to use templates, as these are designed to have rights across the board from the account level.
